Macrodroid. It is like Tasker, but with a much much better UI.

The day this guy dies, I will throw a party. And I hate parties.

For me, I can see 7 chats on signal, 9 chats on WhatsApp. There are tons of wasted space on signal for me. It just looks bad to my eyes.

The thing I hate about signal is the UI. Everything looks way too big on my device. WhatsApp, for example, holds 2 more chats, and the messages themselves are tidier.

This may seem like it's not a big deal, but UI is absolutely crucial on order to get people to actually use the app. I moved a few people to signal but they just hated the way it looks. "seems like an app for old people, font too big". I can see that. They moved back to insta/WhatsApp.

I think some small and easy UI changes could make the app much better: just give us a "compact" mode.

What sexual misconduct?

I use macrodroid instead, though I have also paid for Tasker.

I just find macrodroid much easier to use. I learned to use Tasker, then was not using it for a few months, went back to it to implement something and god damm, what a horrible UI. I had forgotten how to use it. Decided to try macrodroid and it is just so beautiful and easy..

I find Lemmy much more ethical. It truly is by the community, for the community.

On reddit, a select few are getting rich by the content YOU create. Seems a bit weird to me. You create content, they get to buy a new house/yacht. No thank you.

Even on reddit, PT subs are hard to get active. There is /r/Portugal, literaciafinanceira and maybe devpt. I think you are stretching too thin.

Have you thought of just doing 1 sub on Lemmy.pt, and just add [tags] in the title or something? Once Lemmy.pt has enough users, you could slowly open more.

Yes, me too! The justice part. I am very principled. And it is something that I, sometimes (?) hate about myself. I think it mostly drives people away.

I figure many people on Lemmy are the same in that regard, very principled people.

I am currently using authy. I would like an open source alternative, of course, but seeing how important 2fa is, I require proper sync/backups, like authy has. I don't want to manage them myself with google drive or the likes, as I don't even have a google acc.

What is "ought from an is"?

Lemmy is so much more performant than reddit.. It is crazy! Try going to reddit's deskop site and then go to a Lemmy site..

Also, reddit is now blocking VPN users, unless you are logged in...

And finally, if I use reddit, I am contributing to a rich guy buying his nth car/house/yacht.. On Lemmy, I am not enriching the wallets of the already rich.

I currently use Swiftly Switch. It is an app that adds a small bar to the side of the device and by swiping that part, I am shown a list of apps of my choosing. This allows me to open apps much faster.

Sadly, it is not open source. Is there something similar but open source?

I feel like changing my ringtone.

What is yours?
