At some point the UN peacekeepers will... you know, need to actually start keeping the peace. By .. means necessary.
What a joke - if the US would just push for it, everyone bar Orban would fall in line. And Orban can be bought.
So if they where to admit Ukraine into Nato but explicitly exclude the current conflict with Russia, barring nuclear/wmd escalation what issue would there be?
In fact they don't have to go that far, a workaround was discussed where the definition of Ukraine that was protected by NATO would be an area smaller than the national borders (to exclude the areas where current fighting is occurring, but protect currently peaceful areas like Kyiv). To me this is the biggest part,
in large part because the conflict is too volatile to predict how it might be managed days from now, let alone months from now.
Reading between the lines, I'm hopeful that Harris will enact a major change in policy down the line in this area if she's elected - but also be able to claim that while she never broke from Biden or older policy, that the "volatile" conflict went in an un"predict"able direction requiring the move.
It depends how sleepy I am. If I'm wide awake and know I won't be able to fall asleep for a few hours, I'd try to get as much done before hand (so I'll have more time later to sneak in the inevitable nap). If I can barely keep my eyes open, just make sure the alarm is set and sleep it off.
