Or they overtake in a risky and hazardous way only to stop at a red light, which was already red before they did this 30 meters ahead.

Or the car turned right and didn't care/look. =)

I'm German. I won't touch this conflict with a stick from 10meters away. (Which means our government has similar issues, especially with all the fake news floating around and people who think this is their sign to show public antisemitism.... in Germany!!!!!!!)

Well a Billionaires Super-Yavht technically generates Jobs, is good for the economy and so on.... still it's a waste of resources (= environment dies a little for nothing).

If companies would actually "invest" in RnD as much as you imply, we would be at a vastly different technological state. Capitalism is like, infinite Solar energy? Nah, let's distribute fake news and manipulate the voters (Started in the 70s after Carter). It's just braindead at this point.

Yeah nah, I think we will never discuss on one level. It's like easy to dismiss others arguments as stupid, because "Lemmy", while cosplaying capitalist fanboy.

Definetly one of the subscriptions I don't regret as much as others but still a steep cost for my frequency of usage. I need it approx 6 weeks per year and only as backup when traveling/hiking.

A free alternative (simply Osm) is much appreciated.

I didn't know about Organic-Maps. I used Osmand, which has a subscription fee for downloading maps.

Thx!

Nah Bro, it's biased against poor and pro rich. Taxes on income are nothing the company pays, it's paid by the employees.

Taxes on profits and gains are circumvented by "declaring necessary investments" to set the net profit to 0.

I know there are cases where this is legit, but I doubt, Amazon and others just steal.

This. Lemmy is the way to go. Decentralized Communities connected via API.

I don't see many other possibilities. The system needs a "free for ever" mechanic or big money shits into everything.

If the apartments are no shoe boxes and have lavishly big (garden) balconies I'm all in. The space should be around 100-120 qm each with flexible drywall placement for individual footprints.

I love living in a walkable city but I envy a friend of mine a little bit, who exits his apartment into a market center with cafes, shops, supermarkets, barber, doctors etc.

Ideally you got a hair dresser who knows his trade. Ask them what they suggest when you get your next hair cut. They gladly sell you some. It's expensive (like 30-50€ a bottle) but you use only small amounts and it lasts for approx 2-3 months.

For me it stopped hair loss, itchy scalp and scales. It was a nightmare. Now, normal fat free hair. Wash every 2-3 days.

Ph-neutral soap can be bought in pharmacies or some supermarkets as "intimate areas soap for women". But it definetly works on male body parts too =)

Well yes but eeew ....

You can use PH neutral soap. Showering with water only is not a good idea. Using high quality soap and shampoo is! (High quality shampoo won't foam when hair is dirty, pH neutral soap won't burn in pee hole)

Edit regarding topic: I tried the "only" water method because I found soap and shampoo to be too aggressive. The smell isn't the issue if you wash daily and change clothes daily (everything reeks in the evening) but the effort and the oilfactory social paranoia isn't worth it. => See solution above.
