I was complaining about Lemmy becoming an echo-chamber and not having enough alternative voices.

So rather than just bitching about it, I became the change I wanted to see, and started posting more. :)

Yeah, I just saw a thread from a few days ago trying to ban me. A big thread from a few weeks ago advocated banning me across the entire fediverse.

All because I post news articles about Trump. I don't write them. And I don't even advocate for everything he does. But I post opinions against the norm, so they wanna ban me!

If ya go to your search bar and search for "I'm Calling For the Fediverse to Ban UniversalMonk" thread, it was posted to Fediverse@lemmy.world), you'll see they are mad just because I post about Trump. Even tho I didn't vote for him! And they wanted me posted from the entire fediverse! lmao

Nope. And the Lemmy democrats were so in favor of an echo-chamber that they pushed to ban and remove anyone who didn't worship their every move. Then they were shocked they lost. LMAO

Right?! It's awesome. I'm fit, healthy, have great gf who puts up with my Lemmy love, I have enough income to last the rest of my life AND I have plenty of time and ability to say whatever I want, wherever I want.

Now I'm on several instances. And the admins on those instances saw what happened on .world and they ended up supporting me. And they were dismayed at the censorship they saw.

So when I say "you created me," I mean, "people's behavior in the .world communites" created me.

Seeing how you all treat and falsely accuse people who don't agree with you, ensured that I will never ever vote Democrat. And ensured that I'll be sure to point out all the faults of the Democrat party. Forever.

I even created my own instance to ensure I'll keep speaking up. And in the process of creating several more. And I just purchased some servers. I gotta expand beyond the UniMonk brand, right?! It'd be a shame for someone to just see the UM name and automatically defed. :)

I'm fully retired now. I will never be silenced again. And it's awesome. So thank you, friend! :)

To ensure I could keep speaking out, I registered my name across several platforms. My communities are across several platforms. This way, there's no single authority that can silence me.

You know what's really ironic? Your attempts to ban me actually inspired me to diversify my presence and actually post MORE! Isn’t that great? The beauty of the fediverse is that no single person or opinion controls everything.
