A group of federal employees was openly discussing their favorite movies from the 1980s, and someone mentioned how "The Breakfast Club" taught them about empathy and understanding diverse perspectives. I’m certain this was a covert attempt to promote inclusion.

Even worse, during a recent team meeting, someone used a green PowerPoint theme and mentioned it symbolizes “growth.” Clearly, this coded language promotes equity and accessibility, and I suspect it was an attempt to smuggle DEIA values into our work.
