Nobara is very good for middle user that just want a ready-to-game distro; Bazzite is best for noobs, thanks to immutability; for an experienced user there are no reasons to not use Arch.

Arch. Bazzite/Nobara are for noobs (in a positive way, don't get me wrong). Gaming is in spot where you want stability but also a rolling release, since we have daily improvements on essential packages; as an experienced user you can use Arch for that; consider also even Valve is on it with the Steam Deck (Arch-based).

If you want to learn more in depth about how Proton works I suggest you to ask here on [GloriousEggroll's Discord](https://discord.gg/6y3BdzC.

For emulation, X360 and PS3 needs intense resources and their emulators may be in an early development state; look back to the previous generations, maybe with a cool megabezel shader on RA.

Void Linux, very clean and fast on old hardware.

Proton is Wine with prefixes, basically, you can use it without Steam on Lutris for example (Wine-GE suggested); also, emulation for old games isn't so demanding, try different cores for RetroArch.

SC is more of a brother to grow up with than a controller

8bitdo Pro 2 is very versatile, I'm curious about the Ultimate. I love my SteamController for modern games.

One more reason to uninstall these app

In this period I was learning about different systems for recycling and reusing plastic from a DIY perspective, when I came to know about this open hardware.

crosspostato da: https://slrpnk.net/post/8602499

My stuff:

  • ArchLinux KDE, amdgpu, vulkan, wayland
  • RetroArch installed from official repos
  • cores installed via RetroArch utility

I'm using this command but it results in a graphical glitch when launched from steam:

retroarch -L "path/to/core" "path/to/game"

Possible causes I found:

  • the command may not work if the game is a .cue file
  • loading a game from Steam via RetroArch 64bit can be a problem(?)
  • cores installed with the utility are in ".info" and not in the ".so" extension

spoilerI haven't tried Steam Rom Manager as it doesn't solve my doubt and in any case I'm not sure it can solve the problem even if set correctly.

It's clearly proving to be the most innovative technology when it comes to decentralized communication, in my opinion.

It's just me or no music player can correctly sort albums by date? I do tag my music using Picard and I had luck just with VLC in that sense (which is ok but I don't love it for music) but all other apps sucks with this.
