So I looked this up, turns out you are both right. WiFi does use radio waves as I always thought, but radio waves are actually low energy microwaves.

The damn CCP better not be trying to find out how long I microwave my microwave popcorn

Maybe you should mute yourself

Not unless bacteria is somehow covering the entire surface of the earth except the tiny little island they live on

Obviously I understand that training a neural network is necessary, but AI has been used in some capacity to translate previously indecipherable languages.

That's not necessarily true. They may speak the same language, or a very similar language as/to a tribe nearby that is contacted.

I always prefer wired in most circumstamces; wired earphones, Xbox controllers, printers, etc. I just want something to be the exact same every time I use it so my life is similar. I don't want to worry about swapping out batteries, or recharging and then then the battery eventually dying. It's just one extra thing that you have to worry about.

Not to say the newer specs of Bluetooth aren't great because it has come a long way. And I do have an 1st MX Masters mouse that I love. Idk I just generally prefer consistency and reliability over the ergonomic and mobility advantages. Everyone is different I guess

Electric cars contribute less emissions than ICE cars even if the grid's electricity supply is entirely coming from coal. Of course cars in general are a much worse solution to transport than really any form of public transportation, but that's no reason to spread pro-ICE car propaganda.

I think you can technically recycle probably almost any plastic, perhaps almost any material in general. It's just a question of if the recycling process is affordable and competes in price with just buying the unrecycled version of that plastic. So other plastics besides PET and HDPE I'm sure you can recycle, it's just that the cost is prohibitive.

Yeah haha. The crazy thing is we're just now at the precipice of that actually being a possibility.

Maybe people can just use a different video calling program if the CEO of the company doesn't like people using it.
