DVDs were also commonly used as external data storage prior to flash storage becoming the predominant method. Anyone still have their spindle of dvds with a Win XP backup lying around?

Blu-ray doesn't have that advantage. The only major commercial applications it has been used for is movies and games, and games are already breeching the size that even a 4k blu-ray can hold, and have long since required faster data transfer speeds than blu-ray is capable of(this is why even with physical games, the game has to be installed to the console)

Ehh... as someone that has seen it, it's still not that big a deal. Sure, in still frames the difference is really noticeable, but when you're actually immersed in the movie and the action and you're not just scanning the scene with picture quality in mind, it really makes no difference to me.

Tornados, sometimes, I guess? I've got a chair on the front porch to watch from, does that count as prepared?

This isn't NASA, it's a private company completely unrelated in anyway to the Artemis projects success chances. NASA meanwhile, has a great track record for landing stuff on mars, which is much harder

That being said, no one who is actually following the Artemis project believes Artemis 3 will happen next year, we all know 2026 is the earliest it'll be at this point.

ETA: Annnddd it's official, Artemis 2 delayed to 2025, Artemis 3 delayed to 2026.

Nah, I'm American and the water level should not be that high. That toilets clogged.

My sense of taste was dulled and my sense of smell was totally 100% gone(I'm certain I could've been sprayed directly by a skunk and still smelt nothing at all) for about a month, with them slowly going back to normal over the course of another month or so. I also developed minor brain fog, which still hasn't fully left over 3 years later.

They're washing the packaging of their groceries to try to avoid covid.

I mean real talk, how many generations back are you actually disappointing? Like I'm only going to disappoint my dad, as once you go up to grandparent level I have plenty of cousins who can and have already passed "our line" down.

It's not just the accent, it's his age/health combined with the accent. He was at least understandable with effort back in the day, now he practically needs a translater when he's not using his singing voice.

It was because back then they thought the bigger the dick you had, the stupider you were.

$17/hr with a 2 hour commute is considered a dream job in your area? Goddamn

It's tricky but it is doable, unlike with RCA where you have to plug in 3 identical connectors with the only identifier being the color.
