You forgot Bose their ANC is insanely good. Sennheiser aren't impressive to match their high price at least not the model I tried speakers are good but fitment and feel they put all the money into drivers and sound rather than comfort wait for gen 2 or 3. I tried the newest Sony 1000xm5 earbuds and headphones and they didn't hold a candle to jabra, crapple, Bose. Only kind I tried and didn't like was the JBL (mid brand), and Samsung buds.

I love Mulls new browser fork of Firefox but on Gos it weakens the security due to a sandbox implementation not being as strong vs Chromium. I hate big corpo who don't. Brave seems to be the best mobile for now. Sucks but soon as sandboxing issue is fixed. Firefox FTW!

A family member bought the egg ones for like 4k or 5k. I thought it was terrible. YMMV but man what a giant money pit. They swore it helped their neck. I swore it was too rough.

Resale value is solid. Great purchase but they are pricey. Health is the real wealth.

Holy shit. That's terrible you lost your hearing on one side from a surgery. Its even scarier your going to get the other surgery done and could lose hearing all together. You will one be in my thoughts for sure. Secondly I hope they get you taken care of and people ANC headphones or earbuds will change your life if your a concert goer, gun shooter, construction, basically anything where you need to hear but also protect your hearing. Tinnitus is a removed. Nothing like EEEEEEEEE to soothe the already tense nerves. Thanks for the info. Don't put off health issues people it can only get worse!

For future reference how does one go from tinnitus to tumors? What's the testing. I know someone with severe tinnitus they say is mind numbing and makes them feel insane its so bad.

Auto toggle capability based on rules (lemmy.ml)
 

I am looking for an auto toggle feature for the swipe down menu. Sometimes I forget to turn off Bluetooth, location, or other toggles on the drop down menu. Is there such a way to have Bluetooth shutoff after 15 mins of inactivity? Or say Mic, camera toggle off after X time of no use, location toggle, etc. Pixel 6 Pro.

Is there a WiFi camera with an app for viewing when away from home, that has decent privacy? Plug and play would be nice. Limited time to do major setup as in 2 hours tops. Cost is fine nothing into 4 digits. Recording not neccesary. No storage is needed. Simple live viewing is all.

Basically I am looking for a messaging platform like signal or? but with anonymous signup, perfect forward secrecy, capable of video chat, sending photos the usual uses in today's life. But with a panic button. So that any party member could use said button to wipe all other members devices of any data instantly inside the messaging app. So if one member gets compromised, or lost their device, stolen device ect, any other member could wipe all chats, call log, and any other data strictly inside the messaging client instantly for everyone involved. Disolving the group like it never existed rendering the data unrecoverable. Amazons Wickr used to have most of these features but it is being discontinued December 2023 and who trusts amazon with their data. Does something like this exist? Sorry if I'm not explaining it well I'll do my best to clarify and update this post. I am not trying to delete the whole device. Just the data inside the messaging app. If that does not exist. What about a separate app that could delete the entire messaging platform from the device when triggered. Assume all necessary requirements are met and this is for daily use. Between a group of trusted parties.
