Facebook, for me and the people I know, has become a message board where I know all the players. I don't friend people from school or work, but instead people from conventions and hobbies, of which Facebook groups I also belong to and interact.

One of my older ones was "WeDontHaveWifi" because people would say "what's your wifi?" and we would tell them that and sometimes they would say "ohh, ok" and not ask for the password, haha. Password, incidentally, was "whatPassword?"

Agreed. First they killed RedditGifts, then AMAs, then the up vote/down vote debacle, and when they took away my ability to use Relay is when I left. Screw them.

I have the Opinel Picnic+ Cutlery set and it is awesome. It's a Opinel No.8 with a fork and spoon that can slide in, and all kept wrapped up in a cloth. It has completely replaced my need for plastic cutlery while out as I keep it in my man-purse (which is defined as a purse carried by a man).

I never really liked Twitter, either, and joined Mastodon in 2019 for fun. I'm very active in it, now, as I have spent the time curating the stuff I want to see. I interact with watercolor artists, green technology enthusiasts, "good news" orgs, sustainability advocates, and travel photographers. It takes a bit of work to set up, first, but the biggest thing is to search keywords as hashtags and follow everyone you think you might like and interact often with them. You can always unfollow, later.
