My work is always doing Starbucks runs. I hate it because they won’t get me a fucking sandwich. “We only do coffees.” I drink my coffee black, which is usually on site. That shit’s not even coffee.

WWIII here we go

Enh. I’m still using my 2018 Mac Mini with 8 gigs just fine.

I’ve been waiting til 16 became the base to upgrade. Maybe this is the year!

Same. I played the first one and it was ok.

I dunno I find these games are always the same and there’s no point in playing every release.

Years ago I told myself I’d play every 3rd COD game because of this, but haven’t played one since the 360.

I mean you do have options. We have the labour board here in Canada.

You don’t tell your employer you’re talking to them. You let them contact the employer. They can’t fire you while an investigation is ongoing.

This is why you don’t ask.

Also, you don’t really need a whole day. I’m also Canadian. Employers are required to allow you time to do it, not an entire day.

I would phrase the question like this: “I need to take time to go vote. Would you prefer I take the morning or afternoon off?”

If they so no to both, you say “you know it’s illegal not to allow me time off to vote, right?”

I’ve changed careers since the last election, but as a driver I’d just say “I’m going to swing by the polling place in my way to or back from wherever” and it was never a problem.

I agree. Cargo pants are out though.

If it’s hot enough I need shorts, I don’t need a jacket either, but I still need pockets!

If it’s cold enough to need pants, I’m at least bringing a jacket anyway.

Interesting. Sounds nice.

Yeah apartments don’t usually pay for water or heat where I live. It’s also a huge waste of water

I agree with the comic, but your statement is so off base. Fuck Trump, quit being an idiot.

Not really an answer to your question, but if you live somewhere that freezes think about where your pipes are.

You gotta heat the bathroom and kitchen and any other rooms that may have pipes running through them, or you’re going to freeze and probably burst some pipes.

Or, you could leave your taps trickling, but that expensive too.

I would argue that getting all twisted up about something so inconsequential is stupid and petty.
