In the example of 9/11, there were MOUNTAINS of video footage, news articles, and documents stored in a large array of community archives that started as community efforts to find Osama Bin Laden and as it dawned on all of us, slowly morphed into trying to put together a solid fully documented and supported narrative of what actually occurred on that day.
Community leaders disappeared under mysterious circumstances and then all of those digital archives disappeared.
People who were in those communities and helped to compile those archives saw it with their own 2 eyes and remember what was discovered.
People who were not in those communities don't believe they ever existed.

Basically the prompt is "explain to me what makes a conspiracy theory", and the comments are saying "IT'S A CONSPIRACY THEORY!!!" in response to people sharing what makes a conspiracy theory...
To be honest, I was saying this largely because I was afraid that Jon was returning to shill for Biden and advance the "Union busting, rapidly expanding American poverty, global war, and genocide are okay as long as a Democrat is doing it" stance the Democrats have developed.
Well, I have seen a couple clips from his return, and that is not the case. I guess I got jaded in his absence. I should have known that Jon is better than that.
That said, I desperately want ANYONE other than Trump or Biden to take office next term.
Jon has the name recognition, he has the knowledge, and he has the passion.
My short list so far as been Bernie or Ro Khanna.
Since Jon wanted a voice in politics again, I wanted to add him to the short list of alternatives so he can put his money where his mouth is.

My "from scratch" cooking journey started with hand mixed pizza dough, whole milk transmuted into ricotta, fresh veg... store bought mozzarella and a marinara made from canned tomatoes and dried seasonings.
Made calzones/strombolis once a week for months.
Highly recommend it.
High levels of "from scratch" pride, overall simple, super interesting and educating, and mid-low difficulty level, once you have a pizza stone and know how to use corn meal correctly.

In general, I like where I live. However, when I moved here about 5 years ago, it was a peaceful quiet area. my back yard was a couple acres of minimally touched nature (little cluster of trees, massive green field of mice, spiders, gophers, grasshoppers, and the occasional deer).
I loved it. Then the city decided to turn half of that field into a community center whose entire side facing my house was glass, leaving me to feel like a zoo exhibit.
That wasn't good enough though.
The city claimed the remainder of the field, bulldozed and chemically treated it, and put in annex parking for the community center right up against my fence. Mind you, my backyard is TINY. Maybe 40x20 ft. Slightly more than you would expect from an apartment. They literally paved paradise and put up a parking lot.
In between the annex parking and the community center, they put in a playground. Now my once peaceful, zen, soul charging slice of heaven is constant mobs of screeching children and idling cars during the day and rotating groups of 16-23 year olds drinking, doing drugs, selling drugs, and all around loudly and aggressively delinquenting by night.
If I could, I would just like to live somewhere quiet and private again.
