I am a grumpy young sod who hates change!

How is it whataboutism if the US bans importing goods made with slave labour if they themselves make use of it? That is just hypocriticism on the US' side.

Then why does US law explicitly allow slave labour? Do they blacklist themselves as well?

With something like the heroic launcher you don't even need to install the Epic games launcher. Just redeem the game through the website and play them through heroic.

For Linux you can use Heroic if you want a launcher. Otherwise you can just download the installers on their website.

Yes, but most aren't able to be used like a laptop/desktop PC. You can't install any software from outside the official repository on a Xbox or Playstation whereas the Steam Deck is just a handheld laptop with Linux as the OS.

I'm drunk right now and I didn't need to rotate my phone. Your logic checks out.

The steam deck is a portable pc that looks like a handheld console.

My phone can install APKs out of the box. XAPKs need a separate installer though, but that is a one time problem. Many APKs even get recognised by the playstore which made it easier to update it.

My device either isn't verified or in some way geolocked for some apps so I had to get APKs of them to use those apps and I never had a problem with that.

You ran into a slur filter. The word that gets shown as removed is the one used for bundles of sticks and sometimes can refer to cigarettes in the UK.

They were the only band where the merch I have of them prompted a discussion with my classmates who know almost no bands that I regularly listen to. Could also be the more mainstream genre that Gorillaz is in compared to the Deathcore or darkwave bands I also have merch of.

But it is complicated enough that most people don't bother with it.
