The whole point of bringing out a new generation of hardware is to make it work in much better ways of operation than the last one. By default it is not going to run the older generation of games because it doesn’t work in the same way. Now they could spend a lot of effort in making it able to play the old games and work in the old way, but what is their incentive to do that, compared say in starting work on the next generation or releasing the console earlier?

No one secured the ladder or the roof or responded to alerts of a gunman on the roof. There’s only two angles where you could shoot the ear without it entering the head, must be a million to one shot… but the real question to ask is…. a teenage boy looking at porn?… that is crazy!

I said this to my uncle once “me and my dad bought stuff at auction then probably spent more fixing it up than it was worth”. He said “but it helped you didn’t it?”, yeah it definitely did. Fixing stuff definitely helps the soul, if it helps you, do it and don’t worry about the cost.

One drive has a trash for the trash. I’m still not convinced those files are gone after the 2nd empty, I think they just don’t show the other trash cans

We have some forks which are made out of really thin tin you can bend them very easily. I hate those forks. No one uses them. I wish they would take the hint and fork off, instead they hang around trying to blend in with the better cutlery and get picked by accident.

Mum: we’re definitely going the wrong way

Me: how do you know?

Mum: because we need to go south and we are currently going north

Me: how do you know we are going north?

Mum: because the sun sets in the west

Me: oh…

Nah I think they just got a judge who gives a shit about humanity…

The Section of the Public Order Act 1986 lays out rules for how police can control “public assemblies” – defined as a gathering of two or more people in a public place.

Police officers can issue them if they “reasonably believe” that the protest “may result in serious public disorder, serious damage to property or serious disruption to the life of the community”.

It can also do so if it belives the purpose of the organisers is to “intimidate others”.

What surprised me was this is the older legislation. I thought they would use the newer anti protest legislation which even legislates against a protest being too noisy.

I got two streets mixed up and sent a couple to the wrong side of town. My family asked me why I did that. I asked them why they didn’t speak up, they were literally next to me, did they think I was pranking them? The street the couple were looking for is nearly opposite our house!
