Oddly enough, there's reason to doubt DNA evidence from that era for not being robust enough

When Kai Cheks party split from the CCP, he ordered the killing of any communists still inside his own party effectively starting a civil war. Kai chek eventually lost and fled to Taiwan where he ruled until his death.
