Also use the salted butter to leave out. It keeps better and tastes better too.

Ideally the ongoing schism in the Republican party continues and they return to some semblance of civility.

On top of that, ideally the party splits into two and alternate voting schemes start gaining traction in red states. There are a few blue counties experimenting with them, but I've seen none on the red side. There is no chance ranked voting gets to the state level until both sides agree to it.

Democrats want to maintain the status quo for as long as possible to get through the election cycle. Once they get the next 4 years secured and know what the house/Senate looks, like they'll have their pick to proxy war in Israel or Ukraine. Or Korea. Or Taiwan. Maybe a wild card in the Horn of Africa.

High scores runs are for people who want to optimize the fun out of the game.

Then there are fun things for everyone else.

It's in the USA's geopolitical interest to maintain relations with Israel.

  1. It gives them a foothold in the middle east, on the coast of the Mediterranean sea. Egypt and Turkey have too much leverage for the USA to influence them, and the other allies are all past the red sea. Israel is smartening up to the situation and taking advantage.
  2. After the messy withdrawal from Afghanistan, other states saw weakness in the USA and their allies. They need to maintain their current allies to show that they can protect all of their other relations.

We won't get any resolution of the situation until after elections are over. If Biden does anything, it may negatively impact the Democrat's campaign.

There is https://github.com/Alovoa/alovoa I haven't taken a dive yet. I'm curious how much activity there is on it.

I've been using ReportLabs to make pdfs in Python. It took some getting used to but I can put together just about anything I can imagine. I still get a little lost when I need to dig into the source code and how it generates pdfs from templates though.

I'm fairly new to gardening but I would look into propagating them; the rose I know can be grown from a cutting. If you move them into one or move pots you can replant them with the new fence.

With propagation preserving the root structure doesn't matter since it'll grow new roots. If it's your first time I might try to make 2 or 3 cuttings of varying sizes in case some of them don't make it. You already have to cut it back anyway.

Edit: Grandma approved. Spring/Fall has the best chances for the cuttings to take root.

Maybe that, but I was thinking that this was a purchase for Ukrainian AF who were already trained/familiar with Russian tech.

I recently read about JADAM organic farming which is about maximizing sustainability. I've only learned about it the day before, so I'm not sure what it is exactly but seems to fit people's general idea of organic farming. I'm still trying to find what they're trying to sell besides a few books.

Massive swell of people to make any progress to have something to campaign with for Putin's re-election. Ukraine has been generally running low on artillery and can't fully capitalize on countering large unit offenses. The Ukrainians have a lot of western equipment but are low on funds to supply them.

The annual gift tax exclusion of $18,000 for 2024 is the amount of money that you can give as a gift to one person, in any given year, without having to pay any gift tax

If anyone is looking for the gift tax limit I got the above quote from https://smartasset.com/retirement/gift-tax-limits

This is more than I remember, but I think I'm confusing it with the $6000 limit for contributions to an IRA account. I think it went up to $7000 this year, but I digress.
