100% agree.

I configure my editor to use 3 space characters per tab. I've worked with people who prefer tabs represented as 2 or 8 or just about any number. But I can look at the same code as them worth my preferred look.

Also works best for line length restrictions. A tab is a single character and always is.

So Trump isn't Trump enough now?

2015/16 Trump was a celebrity personality that created a previously non-existent voting base from practically nothing. He parroted talking points that he heard from other seasoned politicians but I'm a way that his followers could celebrate regardless of if they actually understood.

Once the GOP understood their need for him, he became their tool. He's nothing more than a GOP mascot and will do the bidding of their wealthy donors. He is the deep state.

His fans are still against all of that and need to believe that Trump is different. The snake is eating its tail.

I don't believe that the GOP has the votes necessary to ever win a presidential election without a new Trump and finding someone with that level of celebrity and ability to work a crowd would be difficult.

This will be the gateway to removing tipped minimum wage and eventually minimum wage. People often forget it is not just the employee that pays taxes on tips, but also the employer. This will also hurt an already struggling SSI system. I'd really like to see a detailed breakdown of a 10 year outlook on this plan.

I mean I could but I have a nearly limitless supply of rabbits in my yard. Their fur makes great gifts. My plants love the compost I get from everything else. As a bonus the blood compost deters rabbits from eating my cabbage.

Funny thing, I can't seem to find any type of vegan certification that is concerned with the use of animal byproducts or waste in fertilizer. A few specifically say they do not check fertilizer.

It used to be a thing but it only applied to over the air broadcasters. This would actually still be a good thing as most local stations would fall under this and many people trust their local more than cable news. It would hinder things like this

Small government right there folks.

I didn't care about a progressive project 2025. I want guardrails that neuter project 2025 from being an effective project 2029.

Voters have very short memories and Cheeto Mussolini losing doesn't mean that this repugnant bullshit won't be enacted in the future.

We need federal court reform.

Protections for non appointed federal employees.

Protections for women's health.

Protections for voting rights.

Protections for religions (of and from).

And probably dozens of other things to make sure project 2025 doesn't become project 2029.

We cannot wait for the religious right to act before we respond. We have to respond now. They have shown us their hand and they think we are too weak to stop them. It is time we relegate their views and ideals to the trash heap in which they belong.

I do, but I do it on my terms when I know it is stable. I don't allow anyone to push updates to my system.

I don't remember much about my OS courses from 20 years back, but I do recall something about walls between user space and kernel space. The fact that an update from the Internet could enter kernel space is insane to me.

This is a tale as old as time. We did this in the late 90s at an office supply store. Every Sunday night changing price tags "ooh guess there will be a sale on resume paper in the next few weeks". 1-4 weeks out we would increase prices on some items just to lower them back when the ad came out.

Well there are only 2 choices in a FPTP election system.
