You can rate and block results which is very useful. They have a matrix room and the similar site search is cool.

I have a couple of old projects, if anyone would open an issue or pr i'd respond. The code still works, it's just not updated and uses old depenencies.
If people still open issues and/or pull requests, maybe you should consider announcing that you won't take care of it anymore. People spend time opening them and screaming into the void isn't nice.
If you have a project which is used by thousands or millions, it may be useful to announce that you won't take care of it anymore such that someone else can take your place. It happened but anyone who is not following news everyday on forums uses an old browser now.
I'm not complaining about the fork.
The old version shall add a big banner at the top that it's discontinued. You shouldn't have to open an issue to ask if it's discontinued. I still see people recommending it. Hopefully not after today.

She earned 7 million and then asked for 3.5 million in donations iirc.
Usually it's not worth it. Redownload your videos in the desired size. Use radarr et al to manage it. There are People who are specialized on the task.only use raw material to encode. Reencoding makes quality worse. And time and effort isn't worth it.
It's much cheaper to buy more drives than to reencode a large library to av1 in order to save space.

Matrix is open, not closed. Also, chat is no forum and shouldn't be used as such.
There is an unofficial matrix room for typst. Join it and use it, and it will replace discord.
Typsts documentation is the documentation for their IDE. I have no idea why anyone would mix that.
Ever made a table in typst? It sucks. Latex tables are easier. As always, markdown is king.
If mastodon would introduce location you could use it for that kind of stuff but I think they are busy doing other things. meaning, someone else would need to implement the location feature. And that's totaly doable
