This all sounds normal. Our social circle shrinks the older we get, we have jobs, spouses and kids we need to commit to, and we spend our money differently. It's sad but that's what happens.

I think talking to your friend would be a great idea. "Hey things have been quiet and I've noticed a difference, everything OK?" And go from there

Yep! I'm an old lady that loves naps, no big deal

If I've not slept well I have a 15 minute nap after breakfast. I like to nap again after lunch or around 3pm when I'm flagging.
