Yeah, my parents went from Roku to Amazon to have the option of side loading. Good thing jellyfin is all I need.

This is the real answer to everyone. Limit access to the Bluetooth connection or don't use the headunit.
You can get a car, just don't connect your phone to it.
I have one of these as well and also got it years ago! Yeah it's the best I think, but needs a few days to stop outgassing lol.

The latest tvs the boot pretty fast, when you turn them on for the first time just don't agree to the policies and it'll be a dumb tv.

My Sony TV allows for a default input on boot. Wish it allowed a default App on boot...
