Yesterday and today feel like I'm reliving my mom's election loss back in 2016. I was too young then to understand the weight behind what was going on at the time, although I did at least understand why Trump seemed like a dumb candidate. Anyways, I distinctly remember how when it was obvious that Hillary lost, even though she won the popular vote, that something wasn't right. My mom was sobbing while looking for places to move into, since we were moving out anyways. Now, 8 years later, I'm having those exact same feelings as she did except with my boyfriend on my side, knowing very well that come January that if nothing happens, we could very well be one of his first targeted groups. I fucking hate this timeline, man.

Spearmint would be good too if you're going for a slightly sweeter, less intense flavor than peppermint!

Hey, now I know how many dimples the average golf ball has! (Plus a new way to torture my players!)

I think it's generally a culture thing; you don't eat your beasts of burden (oxen, horses, etc) and you don't eat your animaux de compagnie. Not just because they're useful and you would more than likely have a connection to them, but generally speaking, these are very lean animals, barely any fat on them, plus the fact that unless you know what you're doing and make the slaughtering of your animal quick and painless, endocrines get released into the muscle tissue, making the meat bitter.

Isn't Halloween about getting the most sugary, most unhealthy candy though?

The people at the Capitol are ready this time, right? Right‽

Oh, I wasn't blaming you one bit. I was just pointing out how odd it is.

In adult-facing parts of the internet, including here, swears are typically used for an extra bit of "oomph" to spice up a sentence or make a point clear. (I know that there's an actual word for this but I can't think of it currently.) It's generally considered neutering that spice if you censor it; case in point is this meme. It just tends to look childish or dumb, especially if the word is just vaguely censored like this meme here again. At least Grawlixes ("$#@&!") have some mystery as to the word being said.

Every time a swear word is censored on the internet, a cat video gets a million views, or something like that.

Denial of service I guess? Either that or having to submit a very specific set of documents or forms to let someone somewhere know why you need just one more after already having seven at that point (First one being the one your parents are given at the time of your birth, followed by the 6 reprints they allow)
