Same place as I always am. In a civilised country with public transport, no mass shootings and public healthcare.

Same. And with workers rights.
Given how you say it's happening across 43 states, I should point out I'll be in Britain.
Also, you're just saying "lets do something" and not saying what you'll actually do. Your scale is spread thin and your talking points are empty cliches. In the end, you will do nothing.
Edit: Called it.
I'll be on the other side of the North Sea from you. Let's have a virtual toast for codified workers rights on the 7th, eh? And healthcare. And public transport. I guess we could add an optional toast for monarchies just to piss off the colonials while we're at it.
I'm living under a conservative government, so I can't make any promises on that toast. But I would like to, yes.
inb4 this is removed
I'm in Europe, so will have six weeks paid summer vacation as usual at that time.
This year im traveling to Italy for a few weeks.
Hopefully you Americans can figure out a way to join us here in Europe where we have an actual society going on.
July 7th is a Sunday, looks like my last day of vacation before I go back to work.
But before I show up, what is your ask, exactly? Yeah, yeah, "billionaires bad" I get it.
But what, SPECIFICALLY, do you want to happen? What would make you dust off your hands, go "my work here is done!" and go home?
Because if all you want is for billionaires to not exist, that's not going to happen.
I think you might be on the wrong instance
Well, one of Trumps many reckonings is proposed for the 8th, so I may be out buying liquor to celebrate.
ITT: a bunch of smug Europeans with their heads so far up their asses the only way they might see day light is if they opened their mouths wide enough.
If you don't see the threat, or active existence, of fascism in your country (it sure as fuck is already here in the UK), that's not because it isn't there, it's because you're not looking hard enough (or at all) past the bare minimum they've provided you (health care! yes, defunded in to uselessness. Workers rights! yes, to keep slaving away while the obscenely rich keep getting richer off of your labour while you struggle to afford rent, let alone qualify for a mortgage), and the one developed country where it's worse for you to point and laugh at, instead of act to ensure you don't suffer the exact same fate, which you, we, are hurtling towards at light speed in an epic race to the bottom.
I don't think that this post is a serious attempt at anything really, but fuck me if the replies to it aren't a dire indictment of the state of apathy and wilful ignorance in the general population - globally.
It's hard to have anything but apathy for a "movement" as nebulous as this.
What are the goals for 7/7? What are you ACTUALLY doing?
Fuck all if I know from this post, googling doesn't show anything.
You'd think a "movement" with a presence in 43 states would have some kind of mission statement or something.
As it is?
"GIVE ME AMBIGUITY OR GIVE ME SOMETHING ELSE!
GIVE ME AMBIGUITY OR GIVE ME SOMETHING ELSE!
GIVE ME AMBIGUITY OR GIVE ME SOMETHING ELSE!"
Personally, I'm 100% on board with "The Movement or Bust" .
I agree, but seriously the Euroid comments need to go. Too much of it is either privelege and ignorance ("just move bro!") or active dehumanization ("I live in a CIVILIZED country.")
