The two apps I have (Sync and Thunder) already do this when I hit search when on a community, so I guess it's a matter of time.

Also on the connect app. It has had so many great updates lately.
Is that iOS or Android? I didn’t see it in the App Store, but “connect” is pretty generic so I may have just scrolled by and missed it.
Connect for lemmy it's on android.
Raccoon for Lemmy on Android also has the ability to search within communities. Can't recall if Eternity does also.
Voyager as well.
