Indeed. People looked much older in their actual age in the 1950s to 1980s than today. Don't know why though.

Hydration and sun protection. Also don't smoke and limit the alcohol.
It's a little late for most of that (other than smoking, I quit in 2000).
Never too late to start/change into healthy habits!
Can still make you feel better? I used to drink around six pints a night :/ whittled it down to like 3 pints a week max after COVID.
I don't actually drink much anymore and I do hydrate and stay out of the sun. I was being facetious. Badly, apparently.

Most of these are not exactly spectacular shows - they are just all that was available.

Are you joking or have you clearly never watched these shows? With the exception of the Brady Bunch and Three's Company they are amazing shows
Yeah, in Sanford and Son, half the jokes are "I miss my dead wife!" Far more wholesome!
But honestly, those shows weren't made to be binged all in a row, they tended to have similar, familiar jokes from week to week. Even the best shows can be a little tiresome unless they're spread out over a longer period of time.
