At this point, F Tesla. Let it burn to the ground.

[–] [email protected] 49 points 1 day ago (1 children)

He has caused so much harm. He should never be forgiven. Never!

The prick is a fucking nazi, and needs to face the 1945 consequenses of being the nazi minister of propaganda. He doesn't just get to pull back a bit and sit in his cosy Tesla office, acting like he isn't the most deplorable waste of oxygen the world has ever seen.

[–] [email protected] 20 points 1 day ago

I still won't buy a Tesla.

[–] [email protected] 22 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I would laugh hysterically if news of his death lead to an immediate jump in the stock price as well.

I would also just be very very happy to not have to share the same planet with that opportunistic Nazi asshat.

I don't own Tesla stock anymore, haven't for quite some time, but man...if he died I'd be pretty open to buying some again.

[–] [email protected] 14 points 1 day ago

nah, I'm done.

I get the sentiment but as a car guy who grew up in a dealership they're garbage. Poorly made, hard to service, unsafe, Nazi garbage. They can die with Nissan and the only thing of any value the world loses is the GTR

Honestly, the main thing I appreciated about the company initially was that someone was pushing the EV industry into the mainstream. At this point, yeah, nothing of value would be lost. There are so many good EV options now, fuck Tesla.

Is this how quickly people forget? Never again buy a Tesla, or Tesla stock, and never stop letting those who do know what you think of them for doing that.

[–] [email protected] 13 points 1 day ago

Not people; shitheads like Blackrock are the ones artificially keeping Tesla inflated.

Tesla announced today their Q1 sales were over 336,000 vehicles. If they sell that many every quarter (no idea, but for the sake of argument let's say they do) that means 1.3 million vehicles are sold every year. By contrast, the Big 3 sell over 700,000 half-ton pickup trucks each annually. In other words, consumers buy more F-150s, RAM 1500s, and Silverado 1500s a year than total Tesla sales.

One model line from those three combined far outsells Tesla, and yet Tesla has more "value" than those three collectively? Yeah, that's not fishy at all.

[–] [email protected] 11 points 1 day ago

Fuck his stock. This is why privately owned Teslas are burning, show these cowards that its not okay to support the Nazis!

Tesla is overvalued by atleast 50%, any bump upwards is short term. I'm going to enjoy when the margin calls start. Even at $110 it's overvalued.

Tesla shares rose

As if somehow his involvement at Tesla is a good thing.

If they could build a car that competes with BYD and other Chinese manufacturers in cost, it might be worth a fraction of its current value, but they cannot. Their cars are aging, the tech isn’t leading edge anymore, and they haven’t demonstrated that they have learned how to move from design to production without a huge on-ramp. Their PE should be lower than Ford or even VW.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 day ago

I'd imagine the shares are rising because investors think less they are hoping musk stops hurting the company by publicly pissing off the world.

Billionaire loot drop must be all rare items.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 day ago

I would like my retirement savings to be in an S&P 499 where Tesla is excluded. I don’t want to manage my 401k every day but I have zero confidence in the stock and humanoid robots is not making me feel any better. I want robots shaped like the task they intend to accomplish. I don’t give a rat’s ass if my dishwasher is a cube. If anything, I’d prefer it not walk around and ask me questions.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 day ago

Too late loser!

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 day ago

It doesn't take long to destroy something. Building is what takes time.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 day ago

If that guy is going back to Tesla I'd sell it all...if I owned any.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 day ago

He's like 70% of the value of the brand.

They can get rid of him but not survive without him.

They'll get bought by Exxon Mobile or some shit if Elon leaves.
