Currently playing No Man's Sky again. Great on the Deck!

Ender Magnolia has been great on the Deck!
Dave the diver nd a bit of no man's sky
Been playing Witcher 3 for five weeks now, am running around in Skellige for a little while. Recon I have a few more weeks with it.
Also tried some demos: Fishing Paradise, Loddlenaut, Nubby's Number Factory and Squirreled Away. Wishlisted Nubby, not sure the others are for me.
Northgard primarily! It's been wearing my trackpad smooth.
I think the last 3 games I've been playing were Mindustry (docked because otherwise that game would be a nightmare for me to set up controls for), Gemcraft Frostborn Wrath, and Pokemon Rejuvenation (they're pretty much the only fan game I know of that has a native Linux port and I absolutely LOVE the devs for that).
Thronefall.
Just played Ori and the Blind Forest (and holy shit, emotional damage right in the prologue), and now I'm playing the sequel. No idea why I ignored those games for so long.
Currently alternating between Half-Life 2 ~~(I swear I’m actually gonna finish it this time)~~ (yeah, I can't bring myself to finish HL2) and Chrono Trigger (I swear I’m actually gonna finish it this time).
I am completing snowrunner... Will take a while
The main new game I've started recently is Split Fiction, which is the new coop game from the devs of "It Takes Two". I highly recommend it if you have a coop partner, the game is delightful and you only need one copy for two people.
Some other games I've played recently: Finally finished Metaphor Refantazio. I had to take a break from it after about 100 hours because (which is pretty normal for me with long games), but I just came back and finished it. Really great game, highly recommend it on Deck. Also been playing Lost Judgement, which is a Yakuza style game but with a detective focus. Finally I've been playing Rift of the Necrodancer, which is a lot of fun but hurts my brain.
I started Baldur's Gate 3 again. With an evil Wyll run. I try to make Wyll go the evil route by doing the most "heroic" stuff.
I only use my steam deck for portable, local multiplayer games. Well, except for when I play Pokemon Red / Blue / Yellow with EmuDeck.
I mostly find new titles via filtering by local multiplayer tags and buying stuff that's on sale and looks interesting. If it looks good but isn't on sale, I throw it on my wishlist-pile. There's plenty of fun stuff for couch multiplayer sessions!
The last time, we played
All time favourites
- Super Smash Brothers 64 / Brawl / Ultimate
- MageQuit
- Ultimate Chicken Horse
- SpeedRunners
MageQuit sounded interesting, so I went to add it to my wishlist... and it turns out I already own it somehow. Now just to figure out best way to get it for my friend group.
MageQuit was way more hilarious than I initially thought. I went to a friend to play another 2 or 3 games over the span of 6 to 8 hours. We started with MageQuit and suddenly, it was 8pm. We also played MageQuit and nothing else the next time we met.
It's going to be very funny when we finally all gather and play a free-for-all 6 player match.
Every cent was well spent on this one.
Borderlands 2
TES IV: Oblivion
Just Cause 2
Celeste
Recently bought "Drova: Forsaken Kin". Basically a Gothic-like in 2D. Runs and controls great on the Deck.
After I really enjoyed “The Outer Worlds” on my Switch, the first games I’m playing on my (only recently bought) Steam Deck are the Fallout FPS games. Finished Fallout 3 last week and am currently enjoying New Vegas.
If you likes Outer Wilds, you should also try playing the Forgotten City sometime.
There are a couple other good knowledge progression games, although they're not as close to the formula as Forgotten City is. Both the Witness and Return of the Obra Dinn have some overlap with it.
Forgotten City looks right up my alley, thanks for the rec!
Uh, The Outer Worlds is quite different to Outer Wilds.
Oh man I completely misread what game you were playing lol.
After putting 12 hours into the Shin Megami Tensei V demo, I think I'll be buying it. Haha. I've also been playing Sekiro, which is much better at 45 fps than I figured it would be.
