After learning about how much bacteria grows in a used cup of bed side water, I cannot bring myself to drink anything that sits there for more than a few hours.

I actually prefer the taste of water that has been sitting out overnight. It just feels refreshing. Maybe I'm just weird.

The reason is that some of the co2 from the air dissolves in the water when standing for long enough (but not too long so it doesn't get stale) resulting in a different taste.

I'm confused which is it:

  1. The bottle is full of pee
  2. The bottle is full of vodka
  3. You think you will pee the bed as a result of drinking the bottle.
  4. That's your normal face

5. Water sitting out overnight tastes "stale" and you know exactly what I'm talking about. I blame it on dust particles landing in it as you sleep.

Probably more has to do with off-gassing and reaching ambient temperature, I would uneducatedly guess.

That's why I use a sealed thermos

Bottles are your friend. Also, I'd be to scared to knock over an open container anyways
