Many cultures and spiritual beliefs actually consider bird poop to be a sign of good luck and a message from the universe.

Anymore I would be careful with dead animals, and animal excreta for reasons of infectious disease.

Fly into his house. Quantum Leap taught me that in some cultures that's considered very bad luck, and in an existential, "your future is ruined" sense, not just the "oh $#!% there's a bird in the house flapping everywhere and $#!%ing on everything" sense.

The same show also suggested not to do so with a friend because that's supposedly good luck again. I suppose having to clean up double bird splatter counts for good karma or something.

I once had a little one making his first flight attempt right into my living room.

I was already watching the nest everyday, wondering when the parents would encourage it to fly. When it happened it stumbled and made a crash landing in the middle of the living room.

The parents stayed outside, but right on the balcony door, tweeting louder than ever.

The little one just looked at me and seemed pretty chill. The most wonderful thing was watching it try 3 times trying to take off. It sprinted to the door, probably realized he wouldn't make it and slowly made it's way back to the starting position.

The fourth time it took off like a little flash, the parents joined him and that was the last time i saw them.

The neighbor's cat and me kept watching the nest the next days, in hopes they might come neck.
