“Oh nonsense! There’s no Chinese interference in any US politics!” said a number of chucklefucks to me time and time again when I kept raising the issue.

I find it interesting how it appeared clear in 2016 US election that Reddit for example was being a target of Russian interference, (alongside other places like Facebook and Britain during Brexit), even with Russia in a weakened state China appears to have seen what was being done as valuable and taken up the task

The playbook always seems to be to stoke wedge issues, including funding groups on both sides of the political isle; funding the NRA and BLM seems to be two of the most common examples. The reality being that the amount of disruption and destabilisation that is achieved, it must be that these governments must see it as good value for their money.

Both China and Russia are still very active these days with their foreign public influence ops, and they’re absolutely being orchestrated at the highest levels of their respective governments.

It absolutely beggars belief that the CIA and NSA haven’t been told “gloves off” when dealing with this shit. The orchestration of psyops across basically all of the leading nations of the western hemisphere is a clear, present, and potentially existential danger… and we’re collectively doing fuck-all about it.

Imagine the amount of jail /executions that the US government would need to implement to clean up all the fucking crooked treasonous politicians on the take from Russia/China.

I’m gonna take a pass on the executions angle, but there should absolutely be federal felony charges leveled against a hell of a lot of elected officials. And at least a couple Supreme Court justices.

Do they still execute people for treason?

Yes, it’s one of the specifically enumerated possible punishments. And by all means, if they’re convicted and the severity warrants it, then that should be the sentence. But it should not be applied as a blanket policy.

What about a nice quilt policy? Or casual throw-over policy?

This is USApes main line of defense when anything ruffles their feathers close to election season. It's just soooooo easy to rile these mfers, that it's easy to predict what next country they're going to blame for their shitty politicians and dumb populace. It's going to be one of:

It's Russia, China, North Korea, Cuba, Iran, Antarctica, Aliens, Satan.

What the fuck ever happened to burden of proof. We're taking Microsoft's word at its face value when they can't secure their own servers from security incidents over and over in last couple of years.

It's also ironic that the country that controls most of the social media companies on the Internet and in effect controls narrative on most other nations points fingers at someone else.

Eat that shit up raw bruh. The boogeyman is coming for ya.

Yeah except both China and Russia have clearly documented trolling factories where they churn out bullshit to stir trouble in the west.
