What disgruntled them this time that didn't disgruntle them in the previous 2 years? It went to shit as soon as Elon bought it. Were they just ignoring the red flags for 2 years straight?

The "complicated" Fediverse signup process is actually the perfect filter. If someone isn't willing to learn such a trivial process to gain access to an open decentralized discussion platform, then they really only have themselves to blame when they keep ending up in enshittified algorithmically-manipulated echo chambers.

I like how people just chose to believe the "trust me bro" attitude from bluesky's leadership on web3.0 monetization when their investors quite literally have a track record of doing so. We've collectively learned nothing for the past 3 decades.

Honestly never thought I'd live long enough to see Idiocracy become a documentary.
