I don't. If you decided that blatant incompetence, fascism, sexism, racism, xenophobia, felonies, sexual assault, etc. were all the traits of a man that you vehemently support to be in charge of this country... if you want your political rivals deported, jailed or killed... you are fucking garbage. Fuck you. This isn't 2016. There is no excuse anymore. Nobody is ignorant unless they are willfully ignorant. If you vote for Trump, you are either willfully ignoring all of these things and putting this monster in charge anyway because you cant stand to vote for an objectively wildly more competent and normal Democrat or just not vote, or, worse, you actively support these things. Either way, you are a fundamentally garbage human being.

I see the ambiguity in Bidens statement, but it looks to me he meant the comedian, specifically the things the comedian said. " I don’t know the Puerto Rican that — that I know — or a Puerto Rico, where I’m fr- — in my home state of Delaware, they’re good, decent, honorable people. The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporter’s — his — his demonization of Latinos is unconscionable, and it’s un-American."

But the more important piece here is contrasting Harris with Trump, Harris addressed Biden's remarks directly, Trump won't address the racism directly. Harris is presidential, Trump is not.

I'm with Biden on this one. If after all that Trump and his entire ecosystem of hate has said and done, if you still support them then you are indeed garbage.

Dementia has no filter. The old man said what he meant. Don't treat him like a child and let him stand proudly by his words.

There's one word I keep coming back to: indefensible. I don't see how anyone could listen to Trump speak, see the effects of his policies, and understand his goals, and still think, "Yeah, that guy should be president."

and those are just the things he's admitted to out loud in front of a camera. Any one of those would immediately disqualify any other candidate, and there isn't any argument to be made that he isn't all of those things. Denial is a helluva drug, but to deny all of those things? The only conclusion is that his supporters share his "values" and that makes them as deplorable as he is.

I don't call them garbage. I call them traitors. That's who the MAGA crowd is. A bunch of treacherous traitors.

Our founding fathers would've worked overtime, rallying and rounding up millions of these traitors to be drawn and quartered. Because, aligning with an obvious dictator wannabe isn't bad enough, it's the fact that they're aligned with the values of a newfound Axis Party between Russia, North Korea and America (under Trump).

So, they're traitors.

I'm fine if she plays softball on this. We on the other hand can call these fucks exactly what they are.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

The deplorables comment was one of the nails in Hillary's coffin. We can say these things, Harris can't

[–] [email protected] 8 points 2 weeks ago

lol, Hillary was cooked the moment she stepped in the ring. "Deplorables" was just a weirdly ivory-tower insult. She'd have gained more political ground calling them shitbags.

[–] [email protected] 29 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

I strongly disagree with Kamala Harris strongly disagreeing about this

[–] [email protected] 25 points 2 weeks ago

Political views aren't immutable characteristics and I literally cannot think of a better metric by which to judge people.

[–] [email protected] 23 points 2 weeks ago

Nah, Brandon’s right. Repubs are garbage.

[–] [email protected] 20 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

still "going high" playing by maques dequeenbury rules, when the other sides out here with switchblades taking kneecaps

[–] [email protected] 23 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

She's the candidate. Biden said that so that she could say this. He's speaking truth, and she's extending an olive branch. Normally, it would be the VP who says the blunt thing, but it has more juice coming from the sitting president. Trump would be doing the same thing, if they could trust Trump to say anything without going rogue and rambling something bigoted.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

I doubt Biden planned that, I genuinely think he misspoke or failed to filter by accident. But I agree that that is how her campaign is considering and treating it. It got that opinion out there but allowed her the grace to walk it back.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 weeks ago

Maybe. He is very old, and has always been prone to commit gaffes. But he's not wrong.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 2 weeks ago

It also demonstrates that Harris can disagree with Biden, to counter arguments of "why hasn't she already done [thing campaign is promising] ?"

[–] [email protected] 13 points 2 weeks ago

It would be nice to live in a world where everyone called out the obvious corruption and treason of the Repub party, and by extension, its voters (who are garbage).

[–] [email protected] 11 points 2 weeks ago

Brandon was right tho.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 weeks ago

When she wants the favor of Republicans, she can differ from the president.

When progressives are upset about Gaza, they can pound sand because she totally can't differ from the president because reasons.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 weeks ago

I didn't hear it over being called vile and scum by Trump, but if that's what the media wants to talk about.,,

Latinos want to be white so bad. They'll jump down the throat of someone saying you're bad for voting for someone that thinks your garbage.
