hahahahahaha, way too late for that, i watched the first season, and all the characters moral base were so ugly their actions so contrived to ellicit a negative response, they got one from me, watched the first ep of the second season and that was it, just another over the top superhero show, trying to say something, and failing. sure lots of shoot em up and gore, a little sex, but overall forgettable as social genre commentary. at least for me. i did like Gen V, a lot a lot, I guess the reason for this disconnect is they wrote the kids likeable with some sort of moral center, even the bad one, and I understand that, that makes sens to me. Tragedy what happened Chance Perdomo, and hope the show is able to reground and continue. But The Boys, blech, you can have it.

that is what the united states can offer, with a government of by and for the people. now we fall considerably short of this, all the time, and have since the founding fathers, but we have an engine of economy, and relative comparative safety which continue to draw latino immigrants, legal and otherwise.

yep, same, when the guys i work around told me that trump was going to win in 2016, i bet all of them 5 grand he wasn't. i was positive clinton wasn't going to let that happen. glad none of them took me up on it. didn't make that bet this time around with anyone.

Trump's goal is chaos. A Million Americans died from his inept and mismanaged Global Pandemic response the last go around, and loading up every Federal agency with chuckleheads who can only run them into the ground (health, defense, intelligence, finance), he's gonna beat that first number handily. It's literally going to be bedlam, everywhere, all the time, with no checks, no balances. In Capitalism, for someone to earn, labor must be taken advantage of. In this scenario, I don't know how earnings can be created, when everyone is dying from something.
