Tuvok has one emotion: sass.
TenForward: Where Every Vulcan Knows Your Name
/c/TenFoward: Your home-away-from-home for all things Star Trek!
Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.
~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.
~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.
~ 3. Use spoiler tags. This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.
~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.
~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.
~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.
~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'
~ **8. Political commentary is allowed, but please keep discussions civil. Read here for our community's expectations.
Fun will now commence.

I too appreciate my possession of the sensation of touch. That is what we are discussing here, is it not?
As long as you don't get Tu overemotional, it won't go Tu badly.
Am I the only one who couldn't stand Tilly? It wasn't even her character so much as her arc. She was a nervous, non confident ensign and within a few years she's an officer? Get the fuck outta here. It would have been more believable if her story had developed smaller and ended with her finally having confidence enough to apply for officer school. She progressed way too much while still being annoying and childish
Ensigns are officers. She went from a nervous cadet to being a confident officer (LtJG in S5). That's not a weird arc for military members. Even in real life i saw guys go through the same changes. If you encourage people and put them in situations that can build their confidence they can and often do become more confident people.
Both can be right:
Some people are annoying, and you're not required to like them.
People evolve given the context of their trajectory.
I feel like a Vulcan for real.
I have BPD; my emotions are always at 11. There's no "I'm just a little whatever." I struggle to keep it under control, push it down, basically make it not exist.
And I really lose my shit when I'm horny.
