Shoutout to the folks who plant sunflowers on boulevards, yards, or community gardens.
We had a rogue sunflower sprout in our garden this year. Instead of removing it, we let it grow until it was tall enough to peek over the back fence. I imagine that the neighbors are wondering about the singular giant sunflower head they can see poking up.
Glorious.
