I’m visiting my daughter and grandkitties this weekend! early morning snuggles

My cat is grumpy and angry because the visiting cat doesn't want to say hello, and it's been weeks so she's grumpy. She just wants to say hello to the new cat! New cat just smacks her then hides.

Mother's cat, the visiting cat, is doing well except for the smacking parts. She's here so I can medicate her while my mother travels. She accepts the medicine well and has decided I'm her human stand in since she hates everyone but my mother. And now me, I guess.

Mother's cat goes home in a few days so things will hopefully calm down, but I suspect my cat will be angry with me for awhile. She doesn't like hearing me tell mean other cat she's also a good girl.

We don't see him much (cat), grandma is visiting and when she does he always hides himself, she used to scold him and and spray water on him back when they lived together.

He is a bit sleepy after a long walk at the park 🥰 We met a bunch of wonderful friends today. I even had a huge puppy (10 months old but bigger in size than me) climb into my hands for a hug

Cuddling and snoring (while awake) on top of me and wife. Mostly on top of me so I won't be doing anything productive for at least an hour.

M.I.A.

Not necessarily in a bad way - It's just how my cats are.

UPDATE 1:
Found one, Rhea. She's been outside over night. She's now eating, and knowing her she'll snooze in the couch for an hour before going out into the rain again (She's an all weather kind of cat. Them birds aren't going to torment themselves now, are they?)

Still no idea where Luna is. She usually stays hidden most of the day only to spontaneous materialize out of nowhere in the evening.

Another update: Rhea is now done eating. She's currently making sure that the couch is properly dead before her nap.

UPDATE 2:
Aaaand Rhea is gone again. Luna still nowhere to be found.

Doobie (cat) is currently looking out the window intently at a bug and hatching a plan on how she can somehow reach through the glass and get it.

We lost our oldest last Friday. But we had nearly 15 years with her. A long and healthy life for a German Shepherd. Thankful she was active to the end. An awfully good girl.

Chickens are doing alright. The new australorps are really overdue to be moved out of their temporary digs. Old enough now to join the others. We got a rooster this time and he's just started crowing.

I'm sorry about your very good girl.

My elderly pug is starting to have health problems (don't be judgy please, he was a stray I adopted, I don't approve of breeding them). He has diabetes, atopic dermatitis, cataracts, and now seems to have developed tracheal stenosis. We are trying cough syrup to help but it doesn't seem to be helping a lot, he still wakes up and horks through the night at least once. It is definitely the downslope of his life, and although he seems reasonably content, I have to be vigilant to make good decisions for him. However my first foster dog just died at almost 17 so I suppose anything can happen. I read a really good article last week about making decisions about your pet's end of life and it helped a lot. He's a very sweet dog but it's definitely a bit hard to keep him happy.

My mixed breed is as healthy and happy and sweetly bad as can be. I wish he didn't want to fight other dogs so much, but he's really fun and active and my God he loves me so much. He spoons me all night long.
