Do I smell a territory swap coming?

I'm guessing the strategy is diversion, unless they have specific targets they're going after. Maybe both. Better get ready to exercise the "Sherman Doctrine" because the Russians are going to try to cut off the supply lines as quickly as possible.

One dude over at NCD said that the target may have been a major oil nd gas distribution hub near the border, which supplies Hungary, Slovakia and eve Turkey to some degree. If the Russians try to recapture it using their usual tactics, they bomb their own critical infrastructure, if they don't, they look weak, and it's a very useful bargaining chip for peace.

I have a feeling that the talking heads calling for an immediate peace along the frontline will stop doing that once Russia also would need to cede territory.
