It happened to a friend (with a pilot license I precise).
He was flying a small two seat aircraft and got contacted through the radio and for asked if he was ok to do a exercice with military aircraft.
He agreed so soon after two fighter jet arrived on his left and right. To be able to fly at the same speed as him they were almost standing vertically. They directed him for a bit without any radio contact, then thanked him through the radio and left.
They were doing a exercise to direct someone with no radio contact.
Even if I knew the jets were exercising, I'd still be making diamonds.

You ever see those “Speed limit enforced by aircraft” signs? That’s the guy you gotta worry about.
That's what "©" means. In most states you are by natural law not allowed to be faster than the speed of light

in reality I think ATC will just wait 2 hours for you to run out of fuel and notify the local police for wherever you land

PA, as with kayaks I need a launch permit for the lakes and rivers.

I don't know where op is from but a lot of states, especially in the western US require invasive species tags on any craft over a certain length, like 10 ft. Some also require state registration decals. Idaho is an example of one that takes the invasive species decals and water craft checkpoints very seriously.
Certain locales in CA are pretty big on it too. My local lake is huge on the decontamination thing and require certification on even small kayaks. They also like money too.

If a cop managed shoot the gas tank on a flying plane, I wouldn't even be mad if I died in that crash
The fuel tanks are in the wings on most planes, they're not that hard to hit.
I would love to see you hit a flying plane, anywhere on the body at all, with a 9mm

And they make very difficult targets when they are flying over 80m/s and half a kilometer in the air

All fun and games until tower gives you a number to call.
They can pull you over to the next airport lr runway though, and not complying would result in the same situation as with a car lol.
I hear pit maneuvers on aircraft are a little more aggressive than a car.
