Grocery stores used to get your items off the shelf for you but now we do that. I think we're just used to a cashier scanning the items, so it will obviously take time for people to adjust.
Afrazzle
I completely forgot that there would still be some places with plastic bags at the register. I have a bin I bring and everything just drops in no problem.
They should also give me a discount for my travel to the store and taking the items off the shelf.
Damn too bad there's no countries other than the US that speak English.
Base e is considered the natural logarithm and is what you'll get if you call log in most programming languages targeted at math.
Makes sense, thanks for the response! It is kind of fun to have a mix of the higher level (like R/Scilab) and lower level (which I used Fortran for mine).
I'm curious why you chose R as an alternative to Matlab instead of Scilab. Scilab is specifically designed to be a free and open source alternative to Matlab.
For my thesis I was writing some test software and when deciding which language to use Matlab was immediately ruled out due to the cost (and also the extra cost for the toolkits I'd need). I instead went with Scilab which now means that anybody wanting to reproduce my results can do so freely.
Start drinking young and you'll end up more fucked up than bubbles, I mean just look at him.
Ricky?
What's next? Expecting you to go to the store yourself?
The grocery store should also plan out my meals, drive me to their store, put the items in the cart for me, and then scan them all for me. Also they need to drive me back home instead of outsourcing that to me, and then they need to cook supper for me or they're just cheaping out.
