This is so bizarre. How does a stranger know where your stop is?

I would just tell people at random and create chaos. Btw, this next one is yours.

Apparently if I was British I would get off, even if I was not on a bus.

Probably overheard her saying "A ticket to $DESTINATION please driver".

If some weirdo talked to me on a bus I'd want to get away from them as fast as possible

If some weirdo talked to me ~~on a bus~~ I'd want to get away from them as fast as possible

If the intention behind the "this is your stop" was innocent, then getting off avoids the argument.

If the intention wasn't innocent, then definitely get the fuck off the bus.

My first time thought went to it being some psycho about to shoot up the bus but for some reason having decided you shouldn't be part of the slaughter. "No no, this is your stop."

What? Don't get off the bus before you're supposed to just because some stranger is wrong about where they think you're getting off. Quit being a door mat.

Yeah, this is less about being a push over and more about staying safe. Personally, I'd start with just ignoring them, but if they get insistent, I'd do what I could to get away from them. Some people are messed up.

Clearly not a regular user of public transport outside of London.

Strange and dangerous people out here on the buses.

Source: I take the bus regularly and put headphones on and stare out the window for the whole journey.
