If you don't vote for anything, you aren't actually voting, just wasting time. No one cares that there's a spoiled ballot. It has 0 impact.
It has 0 impact in the US maybe. Here, my vote might get snatched by one party or the other... I wouldn't like that to happen, thank you very much.
I am also scared of the evil party vote snatchers.
Laugh all you like, it's reality over here. There is vote snatching every election, dead people voting, abroad voters voting here (locally)... this is not the US 🤷.

No, I would rather keep that to myself. I think you get the idea though (it's a plaugue in almost any Balkan country).
