I don't get the down votes. Probably people who live in that fantasy land of idealism how they think the real world works.
The truth is life is a power struggle, and if you don't develop a spine and learn to stand up to bullying, you're going to have a very sad life.
The whole "zero tolerance bullying" policies have been one of the most power-stripping concepts ever misapplied to the world of children. It makes them naive and powerless and believing that they are not going to face bullying at every second of their life. It further robs them of the ability to develop a spine and the ability to stand up for oneself.
"Tell an adult" is a joke. Either humiliate your bully or smash them over the head with a concrete block is how you do it in real life.

I am amazed how most people are willing to give up their agency and hope that the institutions that enable bullying will some how protect them form it.
A bully inherently only understands one language. Give them what they are dishing out and all of sudden they runn to the teacher 🤡
