Partly a cultural thing, i already speak french fluently and i like the culture in france more than the culture of Québec (canada's french speaking province, where i live).
But also practical, i want to live in a walkable city and the only real option in Québec is almost as expensive as living in paris' 19 arrondissements. I could find a nice place that's less expensive to live in in france, at least, i hope.
edit: where are you moving from, actually?
