wow that's a real Laurel/Yannie situation (it's Yannie btw)
I still hate that one. totally manufactured to piggyback off the dress and depends on people with hearing damage to work. nobody will hear someone saying Laurel as yanny unless they have hearing damage and the person speaking is electronic.
hearing damage? what you hear simply depends on the pitch and how your brain interprets the sound

I used to live next to an apartment complex called the Laurel, my wife would always sigh and roll her eyes when I called it the Yannie.
