RULES

  1. Be respectful: no harassment, hate speech, bigotry, and/or trolling.
  2. Encourage conversation in your OP. This means including heavily implicative subject matter when you can and also engaging in your thread when possible.
  3. Avoid controversial topics (e.g. politics or societal debates).
  4. Stay calm: Don’t post angry or to vent or complain. We are a place where everyone can forget about their everyday or not so everyday worries for a moment. Venting, complaining, or posting from a place of anger or resentment doesn't fit the atmosphere we try to foster at all. Feel free to post those on [email protected]
  5. Keep it clean and SFW
  6. No solicitation such as ads, promotional content, spam, surveys etc.

A whole bunch of musicians, most famously Lady Gaga who was pretty cool (I actually didn't believe it was her at the time, but she had basically gone out of venue to have a couple drinks and soon said venue was slammed and she was whisked off to the side bar (closed that day)). Couple of former KMFDM members (then Slick Idiot) hung out with then-gf and I for a while. Met a number of famous golfers as well, but was too young to really remember/care.

If "seen" in close proximity is your only criteria, Bill Clinton, Shinzo Abe, a bunch of more minor politicians, a handful of actors, etc.

I had a fairly random life.

Bill clinton spoke at my high school and we had whole assembly the day before it just so they could warn us not to bring up Monica Lewinsky. Someone did anyway.

He was in my town in a then-swing-state and kinda dropped by the school for a couple of minutes to smile and wave. This was before his first term as president and was in the run-up to that election.
