I got a lifetime IP ban on Reddit for saying "Fuck Elon Musk all the way to hell" - so fuck Reddit, fuck DOGE, and especially fuck Elon.
Hmm, sounds like your freedom of speech was suppressed, at least according to the standard Elon espouses. I wonder why he now feels so strongly about doing the opposite thing from what he wanted before. π€

How's an IP ban even supposed to work when you get a new IP regularly?
Honestly, I wish I knew - I tried creating new accounts from both home and other Wi-Fi networks, and they all got banned within an hour. Our daughter still lives with us and her account was banned too, same thing happened when she tried creating new accounts. I'm assuming it may be tied to the MAC addresses of my laptop and phone, but not sure.
This is a myth. We're out of addresses and now most DHCP rules are locked.
I actually pay extra to my internet provider for a fixed ip so that I may have a privilege of being permabanned
