Hey, so I've got no horse in this race and also not a native English speaker so please bear with me.
To me the op's statement sounds ironic, but not really a projection. According to google, to project is to unconsciously attribute your thoughts/feelings onto someone else. Like if you're having an argument and you're losing and as a self defense you claim that the other party is angry and or unreasonable or whatever.
In this case the cybertruck owner says the guy shaming him should be shamed. He doesn't realise that it's him who should feel shame, so it's ironic.
Am I missing something? Or was it all just some joke and I'm just overthinking it?
Or is the guy being downvoted because he's being an ass, not because he's wrong?
