I haven't seen Reddit give so much attention to the Fediverse in a long time. Maybe we can help them and answer some questions.

Honestly I think the answer is BlueSky. For all the problems that people have with it, it's going to be much more successful in getting people off the Nazi platforms. What's more X->BlueSky->Mastodon seems easier than X->Mastodon for most people.
