Imagine thinking "shit" is so offensive that it should be censored.
Not only has the word as we know it today been used since the 14th century, it was a similar word for so long before that, it was a word that split into two words when English and German separated. Originally, it was 'skit,' which evolved into 'shit' in English and Scheiße in German.
"Shit" or its variants have been used from classic authors as varied as Geoffrey Chaucer, Ben Johnson and Johnathan Swift.
I mean I can make similar arguments about 'fuck,' but at least you can put that up to sex prudishness.
You know your shit.
