Honestly, just set up an RSS feed. The internet is a bunch of isolated echo-chambers where you self-select into the chamber with the narrative you favor.

I think almost all RSS feeds are just news aren't they? Maybe there is some collection of rss from personal blogs that are interesting to follow?

Here's a collection of awesome RSS feeds I know about. I'm not too familiar with other lists but perhaps others are?
