Any idea what Google are doing? Is this because I dont use Chrome (use Firefox)? I've no adblockers.

So this started coming up today. On every video. I can (so far) click the "x" and remove it to watch (still see 2 ads before the video, and one after 4 minutes - ruins music on YT), but did click the "Report issue" only for the dialogue box not to work.
I found a link to a that said 11% use adblock. Thats not a lot.Maaayyyybe there is a problem with the amount of ads youtube forces down our throats for even short videos. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
Nope. It happens with ublock origin too.
I believe Ublock has patched this now, you can update to the newest version and reset the extension and it should work.
updated, reset, backed up my old uBO config, started fresh. didn't see any pop ups after i did that. then just got another one this morning, so it's still rolling out for some users. freaking annoying.
honestly at this point i just do uBO purge-cache/update every time i went to youtube after a long enough gap ( haha hours. mere hours i'm addicted) from the last time.

Then you need to remove your custom profile and update to the latest version.
